Importantly, the unlimited tax liability in the amount of non-taxable income in Austria is the amount of \u00a0\u20ac11,000 (applies from 2009). With the limited tax liability the amount is\u00a0\u20ac2,000. When exceeding this limit is automatic obligation of filing tax returns of wage tax and duty to pay tax.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for filing tax returns is 30th April in the year following the year in which the income was received .<\/p>\n<p>When does the obligation to file a tax return arise<\/p>\n<p>File a tax return is required \u00a0by each person with full\u00a0and limited liability and that is when:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to file tax return is asked by the competent tax authority \u00a7 42 Abs . 1 Z 1 EStG 1988), ie when request is received by post or tax forms are delivered.<\/li>\n<li>in the case of the revenue which are automatically subject to tax (\u00a7 42 Abs. 1 Z 2 EStG 1988)<\/li>\n<li>in the case when net income exceeds \u20ac11,000 with unlimited tax liability (\u00a7 42 Abs . 1 Z 3 EStG)<\/li>\n<li>in the case of overlapping of income from dependent and independent activities<\/li>\n<li>in the case of income from employment and other income exceeding \u20ac730, if the total income greater than\u00a0\u20ac 12,000<\/li>\n<li>if the taxpayer has been assigned tax code<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tax credits\u00a0in Austria<\/p>\n<p>Every employee in Austria as well as self-employed persons are under certain conditions entitled to various bonuses.<\/p>\n<p>For recipients of family allowances \u00a0it is for example child tax credit (Kinderabsetzbetrag).\u00a0Since 2009,the amount of the bonus is \u20ac58.40 per month for each child.\u00a0About this there is no need to apply separately because they are automatically paid to family allowances and the subsequent payment of family allowances (Differenzzahlun).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, single parents families (Alleinverdiener) and single parents (Alleinerzieher) apply additional bonuses, the amount of which depends on income and the number of dependent children in the household.<\/p>\n<p>These bonuses with revenue below the charge are paid as a negative tax.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of tax bonus for single parents families &#8211;\u00a0Alleinverdiener:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0designed for families where partner (husband\/wife) is unemployed or the income does not exceed\u00a0\u20ac6000\u00a0per calendar year<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>bonus with a surcharge per child: \u20ac494.00 per year<\/li>\n<li>bonus with a surcharge per 2 children:\u00a0\u20ac669.00 per year<\/li>\n<li>bonus with a surcharge per 3rd child:\u00a0\u20ac889.00 per year<\/li>\n<li>bonus for each additional child +\u00a0\u20ac220.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The amount of tax bonus for single parent &#8211;\u00a0Alleinerzieher:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u00a0designed for\u00a0lone parents and maintainers of children &#8211; free and divorced mothers and fathers and widows<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>bonus with a surcharge per 1 child:\u00a0\u20ac494.00<\/li>\n<li>bonus with a surcharge per 2 children:\u00a0\u20ac669.00<\/li>\n<li>bonus with a surcharge per 3 children:\u00a0\u20ac889.00<\/li>\n<li>bonus with a surcharge per 4 children:\u00a0\u20ac1 109.00<\/li>\n<li>for each addition child +\u00a0\u20ac220.00<\/li>\n<li>Recipients of family allowances may apply for reducing\u00a0the tax base of and the amount of \u20ac220 per child -Kinderfreibetrag, \u00a0for which they are paid family allowances for at least\u00a0seven months in a calendar year &#8211; this also applies to the conditions to claim for the first two bonuses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tax credits\u00a0in Slovakia<\/p>\n<p>You can also get a tax credit\u00a0in Slovakia. Entitled to a tax credit are taxpayers who meet the conditions pursuant to \u00a7 33 of the Act \u010d.595\/2003 Coll Income Tax.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of the tax bonus is up to 31st June\u00a02011 amounting to \u20ac20.02 and up to 1st July\u00a02011 amounting to \u20ac20.51 per month for each dependent child living with the taxpayer &#8216;s household. (\u20ac243.18 per year).<\/p>\n<p>Guideline of the SR on the issue of taxation of income of the taxpayer liable to tax on nursing activities performed in the territory of the Republic of Austria on the basis of trade license<\/p>\n<p>According to \u00a0(\u00a7 2 . f,\u00a0 of the Act no. 595\/2003 Coll . Income Tax) \u00a0as amended, the subject to the\u00a0taxpayer fully taxable income\u00a0is the income\u00a0(return) originating from sources in the Slovak Republic and from abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue from the company mentioned in \u00a7 6 par . 1 point . b ) of the Income Tax arising from sources in the Republic of Austria, for the purposes of taxation regarded as income from activities carried out through a permanent establishment situated in the territory of the Republic of Austria.\u00a0According to \u00a7 17 par . 14 of the Income Tax part of the tax base of the taxpayer liable to tax is the tax base of a permanent establishment situated abroad, except of the tax loss of a permanent establishment, which according to the law, can reduced the tax base in which the source of income is.\u00a0The taxable amount is the difference by which the taxable income exceeds the tax expenditures to determine where the provisions of \u00a7 17 to 29. When the conditions specified in the law on income tax, the taxpayer may claim the tax expenditure standard manner prescribed in \u00a7 6 paragraph 10.\u00a0The taxpayer during the implementation of expenditure in this manner is required to keep records of income in a short time period, inventories and receivables.<\/p>\n<p>According to \u00a7 1 paragraph . 1 point . a) The third paragraph of Law no. 431\/2002 Coll . Accounting, as amended, the taxpayer is the entity.\u00a0The taxpayer is not required in the Slovak Republic to keep accounts, if the purpose of determining the tax base does not show his tax expenditures, but they can apply a flat rate pursuant to \u00a7 6 . 10 of the Income Tax.
